The event was designed by Dr. Tina Nabatchi of the Maxwell School’s Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration (PARCC). She utilized a process called Open Spaces, which puts control of the event in the hands of participants and is best used when trying to build a sense of ownership. Read more here.
